In cataract surgery, she uses advanced technology—including laser-assisted techniques—to enhance precision and safety. She also offers a full range of intraocular lens options, including premium lenses designed to reduce dependence on glasses for distance, intermediate, and near vision.

For patients seeking an even more customized outcome, she provides Light Adjustable Lenses, which can be fine-tuned after surgery to help optimize vision based on each individual’s preferences and lifestyle. Dr. Green-Simms takes time to understand her patients’ visual goals and carefully guides them through these options, ensuring they feel informed and confident every step of the way.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Green-Simms has contributed to advancing the field of ophthalmology through her research, authoring a textbook chapter and nine articles in respected national journals. Her research on macular degeneration earned her a VitreoRetinal Surgery Foundation Research Award.

Dr. Green-Simms values connecting with people from all walks of life. She has studied biology in Israel and volunteered in Ghana with the Unite for Sight program, experiences that continue to shape her compassionate approach to care. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and photography.
